I bet injecting more ads randomly into the live streams so you miss content will help.
If you set your vpn to Albania you get no ads, as they have banned advertising online.
That's why I quit watching. I rarely chat, but it seemed like every time I asked a question I would get hit with an ad and miss the response.
If they were able to remove viewbots without impacting real viewers, shouldn't viewship have remained mostly the same and it's just that the stats are now more accurate?
Have any twitch streamers talked about the effect the viewbot crackdown had in revenue? Because I've seen a lot of yourubers I used to enjoy switch entirely over to twitch and I wonder if this will push any of them back towards edited content.
Considering the ones who had losses would probably be the ones viewbotting, I don't think they'll be willing to discuss it.
