The South African flag, captioned "South Africa". The green, yellow, black, and white parts are then changed per image to match logic gate symbols. The one matching the OR symbol is captioned "South or Africa", the one matching the AND symbol "South and Africa," the one matching the NOT symbol "Not South Africa," the one matching the NOR symbol "Not South and not Africa," and the one matching the NAND symbol "Not South or not Africa".

I think bottom center and bottom right are swapped. I just got through this section in the digital logic circuits class I'm taking.

Edit: nevermind, it's right, look up DeMorgan's theorem.

Isn't A NAND B the same as (NOT A) OR (NOT B)?

Yes, according to DeMorgan's theorem. Good catch, the image is correct

It can be ambiguous in plain English, but they’re correct.

NOR: NOT (A OR B) = (NOT A) AND (NOT B)

Is one element in De Morgan’s laws.

Yes, NOR and NAND have the descriptions swapped.

Where's South xor Africa?

I live in Not south or not Africa.

You could've left it as "South nor Africa" but I see you decided to spiff it up a notch.

I can appreciate the tasteful use of De Mandela's law when I see it.
